Jesus is Alive by Debby Anderson

Let’s start with the book summary:

The hope of Easter comes to life in Jesus Is Alive. Through colorful pictures of a child’s day with family and friends, little hearts learn about the time leading to Jesus’s death and resurrection. Most importantly, they learn that in Jesus all things are new!

Cuddle and Sing is the bestselling board book series that teaches the love of Jesus to children ages zero to three. This is the first seasonal book to be released in the series and continues the delightful tone that makes the first three books so popular.

And now, my review:

We have Debby Anderson’s Jesus Loves Me book and have read it/sang it over and over and over.  When we saw this book by her we just had to check it out!  We love the illustrations to her work!  The cover says to sing it to the tune of Row, Row, Row your boat.  We had found that singing it to the tune of Jesus is Alive works better for us.  End result, Jesus Loves Me is still our favorite, but this one was cute.  I will share the link to the song we found and sang it to and the link to purchase your own copy.

I received a copy of this book for my honest review.

Me Tall You Small by Lilli L'Arronge

We’ll start with the book summary:

Me Tall, You Small is a series of playful vignettes in the daily life of a pair of weasels, parent and child. Whether they are having a bubble bath, kicking a soccer ball, or eating ice cream together, simple paired phrases showcase their loving—and amusingly realistic—relationship. After a fall: You boo-boo. Me bandage. At bedtime: Me tired. You wired.

Creative use of language with wordplay, onomatopoeia, and rhyme infuses this book with humor and surprise. Together with the text, expressive line-drawn artwork drives home the funny differences between life as a parent and a child. This silly, touching read-aloud will have both parties celebrating their role, whether tall or small.

And now, my review:

This book is ADORABLE!  The words go great together and the pictures are so cute.  Sometimes it has you laughing out loud and other times… aww.  If you love to read to your little ones, this one’s a great one!

I received a copy of this book for my honest review.

Little Kangaroo by Guido van Genechten

Let’s start with the book Summary:

The world is big ... Much, much bigger than Mother Kangaroo's pouch. But Little Kangaroo would rather stay with Mommy, where it's safer, warmer and easier. Mom tries to show Little Kangaroo all that life has to offer. It does no good at first, but then...

A splendid picture book about letting go in a loving way.

And now, my review:

I thought this was a cute read for young ones.  It had some funny parts.  The mom would encourage him to come and see something like butterflies or monkeys and he would rather not J  Until one day…  My girls were giggling through it.

I received a copy of this book for my honest review.
